It may have taken  eight innings to finish the job, but Haverling ultimately got the result they hoped for  on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a  victory as the  squad sidled past the Dansville Mustangs  10-8. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Rams considering their one-run performance the  game before.
  Dante Nealey and  Lukas Mills-Travis did most of the damage at the plate:  Nealey  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances, while  Mills-Travis  went 2-for-4 with two  RBI and one  double. Those  two  RBI gave  Mills-Travis a new career-high.  Corey Hoad also deserves some recognition as  he  scored his first  run of the season.
Haverling's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Dansville, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Haverling will head out to  face off against Keshequa  at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. The Indians will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  victory, something the Rams surely won't give up without a fight. As for Dansville, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will  square off against  Warsaw  at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
