Football Game Preview: Bibb County Choctaws vs. Fairfield Tigers

The Bibb County Choctaws will face off against the Fairfield Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Bibb County is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Oak Grove just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 35-28 to the Tigers.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Jay Chism, who threw for 204 yards and three TDs, and also rushed for 99 yards on only ten carries. Bibb County's leading receiver Ar'Tavious Crews was Chism's top target yet again, picking up 102 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 46 points the game before, Fairfield was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They took a 21-6 bruising from West Blocton.

Fairfield now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Bibb County, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 6-2.
