Softball Recap: Riverside Victorious

Riverside won the last time they faced Clarksdale and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Riverside Bulldogs walked away with a 15-11 victory over the Clarksdale Wildcats. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Riverside's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Clarksdale, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-2.

Looking ahead, Riverside will head out to square off against O'Bannon at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Clarksdale, they will challenge Lafayette at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Clarksdale knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Lafayette likes a good challenge.
