Volleyball Recap: Midway Raiders vs. Fairmont Golden Tornadoes        
        
		
             Midway had already won nine in a row and they went ahead and made it ten on Thursday. They beat the Fairmont Golden Tornadoes by the very same score they won with in their prior game:  3-0. The Raiders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Golden Tornadoes, too.
 The  3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Midway was: they took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-2,  25-13.
 Midway found their leader in underclassman  Ella Clark, who  had five  aces and 15  assists. Clark is  on a roll when it comes to  assists, as she's  now  posted 12 or more in the last 19 games she's  played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Abbie Beasely, who  had four  digs and three  aces.
 Midway  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 14  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least five  aces in eight consecutive  contests.
 Midway's victory was  their fifth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 14-3. As for Fairmont, their loss dropped their record down to 1-14.
 Midway is taking a road trip to  challenge Princeton  at 5:30  p.m.  on Monday. As for Fairmont, they will welcome St. Pauls  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Fairmont is facing St. Pauls at the right time seeing as St. Pauls is stuck on  a  four-game losing streak.
