After a string of four wins, Lincoln's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell just short of the Madison Warhawks by a score of 3-2.

Lincoln took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 20-25, 23-25, 25-19, 16-14.

Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Madison, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

Coming up, Lincoln will face off against Hoover at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Madison, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against San Diego on the 11th.
