Ralston Valley faced Columbine in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Mustangs narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Rebels 1-0. The result kept Ralston Valley happy, as they haven't lost a game yet this season.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Holly Engelking, which was the first she's scored this season.

Ralston Valley has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-0-3 record this season. As for Columbine, they moved to 7-3-3 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
