Volleyball Recap: Inglewood Comes Up Short

Inglewood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Hawthorne Cougars. If the Sentinels were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Cougars when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Inglewood's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Hawthorne, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-14.

Looking ahead, Inglewood will face off against Morningside at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hawthorne, they will square off against Santa Monica at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Vikings will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Cougars surely won't give up without a fight.
