 The San Marcos HomeSchool Panthers entered their tilt with the Christian Homeschool Sports Ministries Crimson Knights with nine consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with ten. San Marcos HomeSchool came out on top against Christian Homeschool Sports Ministries by a score of  56-49  on Saturday. Given San Marcos HomeSchool's advantage  in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings  (they are ranked 73rd, while Christian Homeschool Sports Ministries is ranked 227th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 San Marcos HomeSchool's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Madison Hurta, who  scored 23 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which  Hurta has scored at least a third of San Marcos HomeSchool's points. Another player making a difference was  Kendall Beck, who  dropped  a double-double on 16 points and 11  rebounds.
 San Marcos HomeSchool is  on a roll lately: they've  won 11 of their last 12 games,  which provided a nice bump to their 22-4 record this season. As for Christian Homeschool Sports Ministries, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-5.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. San Marcos HomeSchool will take on Legacy School of Sport Sciences at 5:30  p.m.  on Friday. As for Christian Homeschool Sports Ministries, they will look to defend their home court  on Saturday against Cornerstone Christian at 2:00  p.m.
