Volleyball Recap: Immaculate Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Immaculate was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Pomperaug Panthers, falling 3-0. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

While Immaculate ultimately came up short, they really made Pomperaug work, particularly in the second set. The final score came out to 25-7, 26-24, 25-20.

Pomperaug found their leader in sophomore Abby O'Connell, who had 29 assists and three digs.

Immaculate's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Pomperaug, their win bumped their record up to 7-10.

Immaculate didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against New Fairfield on the 16th. As for Pomperaug, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-2 tie against Weston on the 16th.
