Basketball Recap: Energy Tech's Losing Streak Snapped at Seven Games

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Energy Tech). They secured a 79-73 W over Queens Tech on Monday. The win was a breath of fresh air for Energy Tech as it put an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Energy Tech's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for Queens Tech, they dropped their record down to 2-6 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Energy Tech will face off against Maspeth at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Energy Tech has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Queens Tech, they will challenge Information Tech at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Queens Tech is facing Information Tech at the right time seeing as Information Tech is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
