Soccer Game Preview: Burbank vs. Johnson

The Burbank Titans will challenge the Johnson Warriors at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Burbank's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Burbank came up short against Armijo on Tuesday, falling 6-1.

Burbank's goal came courtesy of Ricardo Gamez, who's now up to five this season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Johnson, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand West Campus a 3-0 shutout on Tuesday. Johnson might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by three goals or more this season.

Johnson pushed their record up to 6-3-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored nine goals over those three contests. As for Burbank, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5-2.
