Soccer Game Preview: Silver Creek vs. Boulder

The Silver Creek Raptors are taking a road trip to face off against the Boulder Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Silver Creek is likely headed into the game with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Riverdale Ridge on Thursday. Silver Creek fell 2-0 to Riverdale Ridge.

Meanwhile, Boulder faced Fairview in a battle between two of the state's top teams last Thursday. Boulder beat Fairview by a goal, winning 1-0. The result kept Boulder happy, as they haven't lost a game yet this season.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Mia DeJohn, which was the first she's scored this season.

Boulder's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-0-1. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matchups. As for Silver Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.

Silver Creek might still be hurting after the 4-0 defeat they got from Boulder in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. Can Silver Creek avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
