Recap: Flagstaff Eagles vs. Winslow Bulldogs
The Flagstaff Eagles had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Winslow by a score of 72-62 on Thursday. With that victory, Flagstaff brought their scoring average up to 51.8 points per game.
Flagstaff had a senior duo take command as Camden Hagerman scored 17 points along with 6 steals and Connor O'brien-piubeni scored 14 points. Another player making a difference was Tayshawn Bahe, who scored 9 points.
Flagstaff's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Winslow, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 5-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Flagstaff will take on Kingman Academy at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Winslow, they will head out on the road to face off against Page at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Page focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 last Saturday.
