Volleyball Game Preview: Kelly Hawks vs. Oak Ridge Blue Jays

The Kelly Hawks will take on the Oak Ridge Blue Jays at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Oak Ridge took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Kelly, who comes in off a win.

Last Tuesday, Kelly got the win against Marquand-Zion by a conclusive 3-0.

While Kelly won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-13, 25-15.

Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Oak Ridge's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They lost 3-0 to Woodland. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Blue Jays have suffered since September 3rd.

While Oak Ridge ultimately came up short, they really made Woodland work, particularly in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-17, 26-24.

Oak Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 14-4-1. As for Kelly, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-10.
