Baseball Recap: Tranquillity Tigers vs. Sierra Chieftains
Tranquillity was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Sierra Chieftains, falling 13-0. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 31-0 to the Chieftains when the teams met back in March of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Tranquillity's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Sierra, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-2.
Coming up, Tranquillity will be playing in front of their home fans against Del Oro at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tranquillity has given up an average of 19.7 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Sierra, they will venture away from home to face off against Mendota at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sierra is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.7 runs per game this season.
