After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Early, Ballinger was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Reagan County Owls by a score of 2-0. For the Bearcats, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 win the Owls walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Ballinger's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Reagan County, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Ballinger wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Merkel on the 22nd. As for Reagan County, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Colorado at 6:00 p.m. on September 2.
