Maize lost to North back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Eagles walked away with a 2-0 win over the RedHawks. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Brylee Lindgren paced Maize's offense, picking up seven kills. Lindgren got some help from Addi Wisdom and her 14 assists. Wisdom was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Maize's victory bumped their record up to 10-12. As for North, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.

Maize wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Arkansas City on the 27th. As for North, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against West on the 27th.
