Volleyball Game Preview: Weaver Monarchs vs. Joshua Springs Christian Lightning

The Weaver Monarchs will head out on the road to face off against the Joshua Springs Christian Lightning at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Weaver is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

Weaver came up short against Palm Valley on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-16, 25-7.

Meanwhile, Joshua Springs Christian made easy work of Noli Indian on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 win. The Lightning haven't had any issues with the Braves recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Weaver's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Joshua Springs Christian, their win bumped their record up to 8-3.

Weaver suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Joshua Springs Christian in their previous meeting back in September. Can the Monarchs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
