Volleyball Recap: Kennedy Takes a Loss

Kennedy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Eagle Rock Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2022.

Kennedy now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Eagle Rock, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-9.

Looking ahead, Kennedy will head out on the road to take on Canoga Park at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The last three games Kennedy has played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Eagle Rock, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 1-0 win against East Valley on the 8th.
