Basketball Recap: Episcopal Takes a Loss

On Saturday, the Episcopal Knights were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 68-62 to the Mamou Demons. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 260th, while the Demons are ranked 124th).

Episcopal's loss dropped their record down to 12-12. As for Mamou, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season.

Episcopal will square off against Central Private at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mamou, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 59-35 defeat against Amite on the 4th.
