After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Jupiter, Benjamin was happy to have turned things around  on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  2-1  win over the Ransom Everglades Raiders. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  victory the Buccaneers have posted  since August 19th.
 Emma Markin paced Benjamin's offense, picking up 12 kills. Markin got some help from  Riley McCaughey and her 27 assists.
 Ransom Everglades' loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Nalah Picchetti, who  had 23  assists and 15  digs. The team also got some help courtesy of  Abigail Zichella, who  had 14  kills, nine  digs,  and two  aces.
Benjamin's win bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Ransom Everglades, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record  this season.
 Benjamin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  2-0  defeat against Palmer Trinity on the 8th. As for Ransom Everglades, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  match,  a  2-0  victory against NSU University on the 8th.
