The Central Noble Cougars will head out on the road to take on the North Miami Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Central Noble barely beat Adams Central the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cougars never let the Flying Jets get on the board and left with a 12-0 win on Saturday. The victory was familiar territory for the Cougars, who have now won five games in a row.

Grace Swank made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in May of 2024.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Avery Deter, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Nevaeh Schoup was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.
Central Noble hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least two batters in six consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, North Miami waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Knights as they made off with a 13-0 win.
Jordyn Hackworth was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Porscha Pickett, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
Central Noble's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-4. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.4 runs on average over those games. As for North Miami, their record is now 12-3.
Monday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Central Noble hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .361. However, it's not like North Miami struggles in that department as they've averaged .378. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
