Basketball Recap: Parowan Comes Up Short

If Parowan was feeling good fresh off their 63-37 takedown of Millard last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Parowan Rams lost 67-47 to the Enterprise Wolves on Wednesday. The Rams were down 54-30 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Enterprise's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Treyson Whitman led the charge by dropping a double-double on 19 points and 13 boards. With that strong performance, Whitman is now averaging an impressive 15.1 points per game. Another player making a difference was Colten Seegmiller, who went 6 of 11 on his way to 14 points in addition to eight rebounds and six assists.

Parowan's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Enterprise, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-8.

Parowan will head out to square off against Kanab at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Kanab's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last nine matchups. As for Enterprise, they will venture away from home to challenge Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Valley will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Enterprise surely won't give up without a fight.
