Kimberly came tearing into Thursday's game with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2.3 goals), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts with a sharp 3-0 victory. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Kimberly's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin soccer rankings (they are ranked 11th, while Kaukauna are ranked 85th).

Kimberly's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-2. The road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those six matches. As for Kaukauna, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kimberly will head out to challenge Verona at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Kaukauna, they will venture away from home to square off against Oshkosh North at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
