Volleyball Recap: Central Beats Columbus for Their Fourth Straight Win

Central waltzed into their game on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Columbus Blue Devils. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 2-0 victory back in August.

Macey Mount paced Central's offense, picking up eight kills. Mount got some help from Abby Kreft and her 16 assists. Julianna Johnston controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Central's win bumped their record up to 26-7. As for Columbus, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-16.

Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against McIntosh on the 20th. As for Columbus, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against North Atlanta on the 20th.
