Flag Football Recap: Fountain-Fort Carson Takes a Loss

Fountain-Fort Carson fell victim to Vista Ridge and their airtight defense on Friday. They took an 18-0 bruising from the Wolves. Having soared to a lofty 31 points in the game before, the Trojans' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Fountain-Fort Carson's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-5. Those road losses can't be blamed on the team's defensive effort, having only surrendered 14.3 points on average over those games. As for Vista Ridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-5 record this season.

Fountain-Fort Carson wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 18-0 defeat against Palmer on the 23rd. As for Vista Ridge, they have also already played their next game, a 7-6 win against Doherty on the 25th.
