Softball Recap: Danville Comes Up Short

Danville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Burgin Bulldogs, falling 14-4. One positive for the Admirals, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Danville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Burgin, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Danville will be playing at home against Berea at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Burgin, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 16-0 loss against Somerset on the 22nd.
