Volleyball Recap: Timothy Christian Victorious

The Timothy Christian Trojans beat the Christ the King Gladiators 2-0 on Wednesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trojans.

Timothy Christian easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-16.

Trevor Munk paced Timothy Christian's offense, picking up 11 kills. Munk got some help from Owen Wise and his 21 assists. Ryan Bochat controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Timothy Christian's victory bumped their record up to 16-11. As for Christ the King, their loss was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-10.

Looking ahead, Timothy Christian will take on Huntley in a tournament on Saturday. As for Christ the King, they will head out to challenge Rochelle Zell Jewish at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
