Rockport-Fulton and Sinton are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2021, but likely not for long. Rockport-Fulton will square off against Sinton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Rockport-Fulton has four straight wins, Sinton has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Rockport-Fulton had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Jones on Tuesday. The Pirates blew past the Trojans 12-2. Considering the Pirates have won 14 matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, while it was Sinton who put the first runs on the board on Friday, it was Jones who put up more. The Pirates fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 7-6.

Rockport-Fulton's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-5. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Sinton, their loss dropped their record down to 6-15.

Rockport-Fulton took their victory against Sinton when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 12-3 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for Rockport-Fulton since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
