Southwood is 6-1 against Southern Wells since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Knights will venture away from home to face off against the Raiders at 5:00 p.m. Southwood is looking for their season's first win.

Southern Wells came out on top against South Adams on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run first inning. The Raiders walked away with an 8-5 victory over the Starfires. While the Raiders didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
Jakob Gearheart was incredible, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. Robby Freimuth was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs.
The win made it two in a row for Southern Wells and bumps their season record up to 6-2. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 8 runs in those games. As for Southwood, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.
