Soccer Recap: Apollo Comes Up Short

Apollo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the North Hardin Trojans. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Apollo couldn't quite close it out.

Apollo's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for North Hardin, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Apollo will host Owensboro at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Hardin, they will take on Bullitt Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Hardin will need to watch out since Bullitt Central have now posted at least four goals in their last three contests.
