Football Recap: Westside Seminoles vs. Pike County Pirates
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Westside). They took down the Pike County Pirates 35-21 on Friday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Seminoles with their most commanding win of the season.
It was another big night for James Neville, who rushed for 170 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, and also threw for 93 yards and a touchdown. Those 170 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kadiphius Iverson, who rushed for 133 yards and two touchdowns.
