Baseball Recap: Jackson-Olin Comes Up Short

Jackson-Olin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 27-6 to the Minor Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 15-0 loss last Tuesday.

Tony Williams was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing Four bases. while getting on base in both of his plate appearances. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Kamryn Jones was another key player, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 1-for-1.

Jackson-Olin's defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Minor, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-15.

Looking ahead, Jackson-Olin will challenge Huffman at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday. Minor will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Parker at 5:00 p.m. on April 1st.
