Basketball Game Preview: Tri-Cities Christian Eagles vs. Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks

The Tri-Cities Christian Eagles will head out to face off against the Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Tri-Cities Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests.

Tri-Cities Christian's tournament run continued when they took on Archbishop McNicholas on Sunday. Tri-Cities Christian fell 91-84 to Archbishop McNicholas. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Eagles came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 96th in Tennessee, while the Rockets are ranked 337th in Ohio).

Meanwhile, Miller School of Albemarle suffered their closest defeat since January 28th last Saturday. They fell just short of Woodside by a score of 70-67. While the Mavericks didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Wolverines 26-17 in the first quarter.

Tri-Cities Christian will have to contain Shane Crissman as he made an impact in Miller School of Albemarle's last game. He went 8 for 14 on his way to 21 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaylen Dyer, who posted ten points and five rebounds.

Miller School of Albemarle's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Tri-Cities Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-7.
