Basketball Recap: Stowe Comes Up Short

Stowe and Milton squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Stowe had to settle for second. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 1-0 to the Milton Yellowjackets. The Raiders haven't had much luck with the Yellowjackets recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Stowe's defeat dropped their record down to 2-22. As for Milton, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

Stowe does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Milton has already played their next match (against Vergennes), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
