Last Thursday, Beren Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Memorial Lutheran, taking the game 52-45. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Beren Academy has managed all season.

Elijah Burris was his usual excellent self, scoring 18 points along with four steals. He has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times he's played. Tyson Sullivan was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.
Beren Academy now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Brazosport Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season.
