Volleyball Recap: Brookfield Comes Up Short

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Tuesday. Brookfield lost 3-0 to South Harrison. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against South Harrison this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-0 defeat last Saturday.

Emma Meyer paced Brookfield's offense, picking up seven kills. Meyer got some help from Selena Curiel and her five assists. Shayne Lumsden and Mallory Black kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Brookfield has been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 13 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-19-1 record this season. As for South Harrison, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-13-2.

Brookfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Harrison, they have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Lawson on the 22nd.
