Basketball Recap: Assabet Valley RVT Find Success

Assabet Valley RVT hadn't done well against Whitinsville Christian recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Assabet Valley RVT Aztecs walked away with a 48-39 win over the Whitinsville Christian Crusaders. For the Aztecs, this counts as revenge for the 55-37 victory the Crusaders walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February.

Several Crusaders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Micah Deters, who posted 13 points. Those 13 points gave Deters a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Tyler Rainbow, who earned ten points.

Assabet Valley RVT wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 54-53 victory against Blackstone Valley RVT on the 19th. As for Whitinsville Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 42-31 defeat against Uxbridge on the 20th.
