If Lawton wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Carl Albert, they should've done a better job of containing Delijah Matthews. The Titans claimed a resounding 49-0 victory over the Wolverines for which the team can thank Matthews, who rushed for 270 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.3 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 108 rushing yards.

Carl Albert's record is now 8-0. As for Lawton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Carl Albert is set to square off against their familiar foe Guthrie at 7:00 p.m. on the 31st. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Titans 5.1, the Bluejays 11.9) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Lawton will take on rival Altus at 7:00 p.m. on the 31st.
