Volleyball Game Preview: North Mustangs vs. Fairfax Stampede

The North Mustangs will head out on the road to take on the Fairfax Stampede at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Fairfax took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on North, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, North turned things around against Cesar Chavez on Friday. They put the hurt on the Champions with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Meanwhile, Fairfax was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Central.

Fairfax's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for North, their win bumped their record up to 6-7.

North took their victory against Fairfax in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
