Caruthersville had lost eight straight on the road, but on Wednesday they dropped their record down to 3-17 to make it nine. They came up short against the South Pemiscot Bulldogs, falling 15-5. That's the most stolen bases Farmer has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Ma'Leah Duckworth, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and two RBI.
While Caruthersville had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
