Softball Recap: Patrick Henry Takes a Loss

Patrick Henry managed to slip by Cathedral Catholic the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Patriots lost 10-2 to the Dons on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Patriots have suffered since March 1st.

Patrick Henry got a good showing from Ava Cornell, who pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

At the plate, Adeline McDonald was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.

Patrick Henry is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-14. As for Cathedral Catholic, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-10.

As of now, neither Patrick Henry nor the Dons have any future games scheduled.
