Football Game Preview: Tioga Bulldogs vs. Wolfe City Wolves + How To Watch

The Tioga Bulldogs will square off against the Wolfe City Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Tioga is likely headed into the contest with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Alvord on Thursday. Tioga took a 27-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of Alvord. While Tioga didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating Alvord 12-0 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, Wolfe City had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Tigers 62-23. The Wolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by 35 points or more this season.

Tioga better keep an eye on Hd Davis. He was instrumental in Wolfe City's win, rushing for 220 yards and four scores on only 15 carries, while also picking up 51 receiving yards. Davis' rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 19th straight game with at least 110 rushing yards dating back to last season. Noah Adams was another key player, gaining 272 total yards and two touchdowns.

Wolfe City was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 334 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 167 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

Wolfe City's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Tioga, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-4.

Tioga took their win against Wolfe City when the teams last played back in November of 2024 by a conclusive 60-36 score. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Davis, who rushed for 309 yards and a pair of TDs, and also picked up 43 receiving yards and one touchdown.
