Soccer Recap: Clare Comes Up Short

Clare was the 1-0 winner over Pinconning when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Pioneers fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 1-0 on Thursday.

Clare's loss dropped their record down to 6-4-1. As for Pinconning, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-6-4 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clare will host Ogemaw Heights at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pinconning, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Standish-Sterling at 5:00 p.m. Standish-Sterling will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Pinconning surely won't give up without a fight.
