Soccer Recap: Carrollwood Day Comes Up Short

After soaring to six goals the game before, Carrollwood Day was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They lost 8-1 to the Academy of the Holy Names Jaguars. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Patriots of the 4-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2023.

Their goal came courtesy of Estel Heimann, who's now up to six this season.

Carrollwood Day has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which lines up perfectly with their 3-10-1 record this season. As for Academy of the Holy Names, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2-3 record this season.

Carrollwood Day will head out to square off against Calvary Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Academy of the Holy Names, they will challenge Venice at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
