There's no place like home for Jefferson, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They were the clear victors by an 11-4 margin over the Steinbrenner Warriors on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Dragons, who have now won six contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Logan Galban, who scored three runs and stole three bases while going 4-for-4. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kaleb Cherry, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.

Jefferson was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .387. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Steinbrenner only posted a batting average of .231.

Jefferson pushed their record up to 11-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to hits: they averaged an imposing 9.75 hits in those games compared to only 5.15 in the others. As for Steinbrenner, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-8.
