Softball Game Preview: Moorestown Quakers vs. Cherry Hill West Lions

Moorestown has gone a perfect 4-0 against Cherry Hill West recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Quakers will head out on the road to challenge the Lions at 3:45 p.m. Moorestown has given up an average of 7.4 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Rancocas Valley hit Moorestown with a eight-run second inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Quakers came up short against the Red Devils, falling 13-2. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 8, 2016, but that streak is no more.

Moorestown took their win against Cherry Hill West when the teams last played back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 12-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Quakers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
