Foresthill is a perfect 10-0 against Faith Christian since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. Foresthill will venture away from home to challenge Faith Christian at 4:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Foresthill lost 21-5 to Placer on Wednesday.

Bella Case was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one triple and two RBI.

Faith Christian kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against Buckingham Charter, falling 14-4. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Faith Christian saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ambor Smith, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.

Even though they lost, Faith Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .316 or higher in six consecutive matches dating back to last season.

Foresthill's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-2. As for Faith Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

Everything went Foresthill's way against Faith Christian in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Foresthill made off with a 17-7 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Foresthill since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
