Basketball Recap: Valley Center Picks Up Third Straight Win on the Road

Valley Center had won two straight road games and Austin Saner did his part to make it three on Friday. The Valley Center Hornets claimed a resounding 67-28 victory over the South Titans thanks in part to Saner, who went 9 of 10 on his way to 23 points. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Bryson Saner, who posted six points along with ten assists and six boards. Those ten assists gave him a new career-high.

Valley Center's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for South, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Valley Center didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 66-63 victory against Haysville Campus on the 11th. As for South, they will square off against Bishop Carroll on Tuesday.
