Discovery Canyon extended their winning streak to seven games thanks to a huge performance from Bradley Hocking. Everything went the Thunder's way against the Sand Creek Scorpions on Monday as they made off with a 3-0 win thanks in part to Hocking, who had eight digs and three aces. He is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 16 or more in each of the last six games he's played.

Discovery Canyon not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Sand Creek between 13 and 16 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-13, 25-16.

Discovery Canyon pushed their record up to 18-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Sand Creek, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-13.

Looking ahead, Discovery Canyon will venture away from home to face off against Fossil Ridge at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Sand Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
